Setting and Plot Preview
The story is set in the fall of 1987. Hawkins remains haunted by the emergence of the Rifts, and the group of heroes shares a unified mission: to find and kill Vecna. However, Vecna has disappeared, leaving his location and intentions unknown.
The situation is further complicated as the government enforces a military quarantine on Hawkins and escalates its search for Eleven, forcing her into hiding once again. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance nears, the town grows tense with an ominous sense of dread.
