STV will broadcast a special live programme from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow on Friday, showcasing the achievements of the STV Children’s Appeal throughout 2025.
TV legend Lorraine Kelly, a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its beginning, will host the event. She will connect with people who have either supported the Appeal or benefited from its efforts over the past year.
Before the show, Lorraine Kelly was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf featuring a unique tartan print crafted by Paisley-based family business Houston Kiltmakers.
The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan incorporates the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue colour scheme and was designed earlier this year to raise funds for the cause.
“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
Friday’s programme will put the spotlight on three distinct projects supported by the Appeal this year, demonstrating the wide-reaching impact of its fundraising efforts.
The show seeks to both celebrate achievements and inspire continued support for vulnerable children across Scotland.
