Ant McPartlin, co-presenter of I'm A Celebrity, has decided to leave his £6 million Wimbledon home following a long-standing conflict with neighbours over trees. Ant and his wife, Anne-Marie, have lived in the property for six years and invested heavily in its refurbishment.
In February 2024, Ant and Anne-Marie sought permission to cut down four cypress trees, a pine, and a yew tree, despite these being protected under a Tree Preservation Order. Although permission was granted, the move sparked outrage among neighbours.
"'No justification is given for felling these substantial trees, other than the applicant's wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden.'"
The neighbours submitted several objection letters accusing the couple of unjustified tree removal, which contributed to escalating tensions and ultimately influenced their decision to move out.
Ant McPartlin and his wife are reportedly leaving their Wimbledon home after a prolonged dispute with neighbours over tree removal and garden alterations.
"One letter said: 'No justification is given for felling these substantial trees, other than the applicant's wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden.'"
Ant McPartlin's departure from his Wimbledon home reflects the impact of neighbour disputes on personal privacy and property decisions.
