Political commentator Megyn Kelly delivered a sharp critique of the Republican Party following significant Election Day defeats. Speaking on her show, she accused conservatives of lacking direction without Donald Trump’s leadership.
“The Republican Party needs to get its s–t together ASAP,” Kelly said during her Wednesday broadcast.
She mocked the GOP for wasting time on internal disputes, referencing commentary from Sean Davis of The Federalist and debates involving the Heritage Foundation. Kelly argued that such distractions contributed to the party’s failures in elections across California, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City.
“I’m really glad the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move,” she remarked sarcastically.
Kelly also accused Republicans of growing accustomed to losing and thriving on conflict rather than strategy, saying they “like to lose” and “complain” rather than adapt to new political challenges.
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run,” she added. “They don’t know what to do when daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line.”
