All Her Fault reveals how quickly rumors escalate into accusations and how the surface of suburban perfection can crack to expose darker truths underneath.
This new eight-part thriller, produced by the creators of Downton Abbey, begins on a seemingly normal suburban afternoon before descending into a mother's worst nightmare. The series stars Sarah Snook (Succession) and Dakota Fanning, and premiered Thursday, November 6. The first four episodes released immediately, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly.
Adapted from Andrea Mara's 2021 bestselling novel, All Her Fault centers on Marissa Irvine (Snook), whose carefully maintained life unravels when she goes to 14 Arthur Avenue to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate. The woman who answers the door is unknown to her, sparking confusion that quickly turns to panic.
As the news of Milo's disappearance spreads through the quiet suburb, Marissa is thrust into a desperate search for her son while simultaneously battling growing suspicion from her community. Along the way, she encounters other neighborhood mothers, including the enigmatic Jenny (Fanning), and uncovers that everyone hides secrets — and anyone could be involved.
"All Her Fault explores how quickly whispers can become accusations, and how the veneer of suburban perfection can shatter to reveal something much darker beneath."
