Charlestown Sarsfields GAA Updates

There was no winner of the Charlestown Sarsfields GAA lotto jackpot of €19,100 in the draw held on Sunday, October 26. The drawn numbers were 9, 15, 22, and 36. Weekly €50 prizes went to Vinny Hunt and Laura Dunleavy. The jackpot rose to €19,200 for the draw on Sunday, November 2.

Charlestown Sarsfields U21's secured a comprehensive win in the championship opener.

Community Activities

• Senior exercise classes take place every Friday at 11am in the Arts Centre, Barrack Street, Charlestown. All are welcome.
• Arts and Craft classes are held on Wednesday mornings from 11am to 1pm at the Arts Centre, open to new members.
• Women's Box-Fit classes, suitable for all ages and levels, are every Wednesday from 7:30pm to 8:45pm at Charlestown Boxing Club, Old Cloonfane School. The cost is €60 per eight-week block or €10 per session (pay as you go).

Upcoming Memorial Events

The Cemetery Rosary will be held on Sunday, November 9, after the 12 noon Mass, at Charlestown Cemetery.

The Annual Bereavement Service will take place on Sunday, November 23, at 5pm in St James’s Church, Charlestown. It honors those who have passed in the past year within the parish.

An invitation extends to families of those deceased outside the parish community to have their loved ones remembered; please contact Fr John Maloney.
