Field trip days are a key part of the fall festival fun at Jeter Farm, where students can enjoy a wagon ride, among other activities.
“My grandmother started the field trips back in the ’60s. She got diabetes and then gave it up for a while. When my brother and I got out of college, she really encouraged us to start doing this again,”
said co-owner Ned Jeter II. The festival features a tractor ride to the corn maze, ziplines, a pumpkin train, and other attractions like slides and a trampoline.
Students like Ryker and Lucas enjoyed the activities, with Ryker saying,
“A couple dead ends and we got out,”about the corn maze, and Lucas liking the trampoline for its bounciness.
