Harvard football has showcased remarkable dominance this season, winning all seven games by at least three touchdowns. This impressive performance earned them the No. 9 spot in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings, the highest position in the program’s history.
Additionally, Harvard was ranked 13th in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll this week, marking their best ranking there since at least 2011. The Crimson’s rise in both polls followed a commanding 31-10 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday, improving their record to 7-0.
They remain the only undefeated team in the Ivy League, while rivals Yale and Penn both stand at 5-2. Harvard has yet to face either team this season; Penn is set to visit on November 15, followed by the 141st edition of “The Game” against Yale in New Haven.
This ranking carries added importance as Ivy League teams are eligible for the FCS playoffs for the first time this season. Harvard aims to extend their winning streak to eight games in an away match against Columbia on Friday night.
Harvard football’s dominant run in the Ivy League was rewarded on Monday with the No. 9 spot in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings, the highest in program history.
