Hayley Williams has launched the full physical edition of her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, featuring 20 tracks. This release marks her first significant independent project after over two decades with Atlantic Records.
The physical album arrives worldwide today, including two songs—“Good Ol’ Days” and “Showbiz”—available on physical formats for the first time. This release completes one of the most unique album rollouts in Williams’ career.
In the spirit of independence, Williams initially released the album mid-2025 as 17 surprise singles rather than a traditional album. Fans embraced the unconventional format, creating their own track sequences and even setting up a dedicated site to exchange personalized tracklists. This interactive experience fulfilled Williams’ desire for listeners to shape the album’s story.
A few weeks after the singles’ release, the project was compiled into an 18-track digital album that included the song “Parachute.” The digital version has since amassed over 130 million streams.
The arrival of the 20-track physical edition represents the album’s final form and signals the close of a chapter in Williams’ musical journey, as it concludes her contract with Atlantic Records—a deal she signed as a teenager.
“Paramore became fully independent at the end of 2023.”
This milestone underscores Williams' transformation from a major label artist to an independent musician.
Hayley Williams’ physical release of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party caps a groundbreaking independent era, showcasing her evolution beyond two decades tied to a major label.
