FORT COLLINS — Colorado State suffered its third consecutive defeat and seventh overall this season on Saturday night at Canvas Stadium, losing decisively to UNLV with a score of 42–10. The Rams started the game with energy and early promise but quickly lost momentum after halftime.
UNLV dominated both sides of the ball, capitalizing on turnovers and defensive breakdowns. Colorado State’s offense struggled to maintain consistency, while the defense had difficulty containing UNLV’s running game and explosive plays downfield.
“We had some good moments early, but it’s about finishing, and we didn’t do that tonight,” said head coach Jay Norvell after the game.
The Rams, now sitting at 2–7, have three games remaining to salvage some pride before the season ends. Attention will now turn to preparing for the next matchup in hopes of regaining form and confidence.
Colorado State’s 42–10 loss to UNLV highlights another tough night for the Rams, exposing ongoing issues in both offense and defense as the season nears its end.
