WME Independent Launches AFM Sales for Romantic Comedy Starring Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell
WME Independent is presenting the romantic comedy That Time We Met for sales at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM). The film will star Pete Davidson and Ella Purnell.
Creative Team and Story
Nick Lieberman, who previously directed Theater Camp—a film acquired by Searchlight Pictures at Sundance 2023—will direct this new project. The screenplay was written by Mitchell Winkie.
The story follows a couple who dislike each other after their first date and later discover that their unborn child has a crucial role in saving humanity’s future.
