Mike Smith, known for playing Bubbles on Trailer Park Boys, has been charged with sexual assault in Nova Scotia. The Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service informed Acadia Broadcasting that Smith is scheduled for arraignment in November.
Court documents shared with Acadia Broadcasting indicate the charge stems from an alleged incident on December 30, 2017, in or near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Smith was ordered to have no contact with the complainant and to avoid her residence, workplace, or educational institution. He signed an undertaking to comply with these conditions in October.
“The company is aware of the allegation and confirms that Mike Smith has stepped away from his role as managing director.” – Trailer Park Boys, Inc.
