Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a wind warning for parts of Metro Vancouver, including southwestern areas such as Richmond and Delta. The agency highlights the impact of a strong low-pressure system affecting coastal B.C. this afternoon.

“Winds will ease below warning criteria early this evening but will remain gusty out of the southwest until Friday morning.”
Residents are encouraged to secure loose objects to prevent damage. ECCC warned of possible local utility outages and disruptions to services and travel.
