The Odyssey’s Elliot Page is glad to have the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again now that he’s his true self

Elliot Page on Working with Christopher Nolan Again

Elliot Page shares his excitement about reuniting with director Christopher Nolan for the upcoming film The Odyssey. Having worked with Nolan previously on Inception (2010), Page describes this new collaboration as an epic and extraordinary experience.

Previous Collaboration and Personal Growth

Page first joined Nolan’s project back in 2010, when he was still playing female roles. Since then, he has come out as a trans man in 2020. This personal journey has made the new experience of working with Nolan even more meaningful and comfortable.

Page’s Reflections at New York Comic Con

“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him. I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited. I basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part and then sat in a room and read the script, and you know, it was of course a big 'Yes.'”

“Sadly, I can’t say much. But it was such a joy to come back, and to come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work. To kind of get to have a more Chris Nolan experience again now, that actually really meant so much to me.”

“I got to go to some pretty awesome places. It’s going to be extraordinary.”
