North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
The service at the Cenotaph starts at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
Afterwards, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
The Baths Hall will offer refreshments and a space for reflection to all attendees following the ceremony.
Cllr Carol Ross, Mayor of North Lincolnshire, said: “It is a privilege to lead our community in remembering and honouring the immense contribution of our armed forces – those who serve today and those who have served.”
