North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour the Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall starting at 10:10 AM.
- The procession begins at 10:25 AM, moving along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
- Participants can join for tea and coffee inside The Baths Hall from 9:30 AM or gather outside from 10:00 AM.
- The parade includes serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups.
Remembrance Service
The service at the Cenotaph starts at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
Afterwards, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
The Baths Hall will offer refreshments and a space for reflection to all attendees following the ceremony.
