Jetstar is expanding its Adelaide network by relaunching flights to Melbourne Avalon Airport, offering special one-way fares from $29. The service resumes on 26 March 2026, giving South Australian travellers a convenient and affordable link to Victoria.
The airline will operate up to seven weekly return services using Airbus A320 aircraft, adding about 109,000 new low-fare seats annually. The route reconnects South Australia with Victoria’s Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, and Geelong, restoring a connection not seen since before the pandemic.
To celebrate the restart, Jetstar is running a limited-time promotion with fares beginning at $29, available from 11:30am (ACDT) today. The prices echo the airline’s early launch fares from more than twenty years ago and are expected to sell quickly.
“These new flights to Melbourne Avalon Airport provide South Australians with greater opportunities to take advantage of our low fares and are part of a significant increase in flights in and out of Adelaide this year,” said Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully. “It’s now easier and more affordable than ever to access Victoria’s Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula wine region, Geelong and Melbourne.”
