Jetstar Launches Direct Flights from Sunshine Coast to Bali via Singapore
Jetstar (JQ) will commence direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) starting 25 March 2026, with fares beginning at $199.
Flight Details
- The service will operate three times a week using Airbus A321LR aircraft.
- Flight duration is approximately six hours each way.
- Sunshine Coast travellers gain direct access to Bali without having to drive to Brisbane for international flights.
- Passengers will also have onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.
Significance
This new Sunshine Coast–Bali route is Jetstar’s first direct connection between the two destinations and expands its network to ten routes between Australia and Bali. With around 70,000 seats offered annually, it strengthens Jetstar’s position as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland.
“The new route provides an easy international getaway,” said Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully, describing the launch as a milestone for both the airline and the region. She emphasized the convenience and affordability it brings and highlighted Jetstar’s commitment to expanding its low-cost travel network.
