Jetstar Launches Sunshine Coast–Bali Flights via Singapore

Jetstar announced new Airbus A321LR flights linking Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with Bali, through Singapore, enhancing affordable travel options between Australia and Indonesia.

Flight Details

The airline will begin the new service on March 25, 2026, marking the Sunshine Coast Airport’s first international link of this type. Jetstar plans to operate three flights per week to Bali’s Denpasar Airport, using its Airbus A321LR fleet, offering around 70,000 seats annually. The average flight time will be about six hours.

Route Significance

This route is Jetstar’s first direct connection between the Sunshine Coast and Bali, and the airline’s tenth Australian route to the island. It joins the Gold Coast–Bali connection introduced earlier in the year, becoming the fourth Bali service from Queensland.

Connectivity and Opportunities

Flight schedules are aligned with Jetstar’s existing services between Bali and Singapore, enabling same-day travel from Sunshine Coast to Singapore with a brief stop in Bali. The route also opens a new path for travelers from Singapore and Southeast Asia to visit the Sunshine Coast.

Promotional Launch

Jetstar launched a 48-hour promotional sale offering one-way fares from Sunshine Coast to Bali starting at AUD 199 (USD 130).

Author’s Summary

Jetstar’s new Sunshine Coast–Bali route via Singapore expands Queensland’s international reach and strengthens low-cost travel links across the Asia-Pacific region.
