6 November 2025: Jetstar will soon make international travel easier and more affordable for Sunshine Coast residents, launching direct flights to Bali and convenient onward connections to Singapore starting 25 March 2026.
The route from Sunshine Coast to Bali (Denpasar) will operate three times weekly using Jetstar’s modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, providing over 70,000 low-fare seats each year.
This marks a significant first for the Sunshine Coast, as Jetstar becomes the only airline to offer direct services between the region and Bali.
“With a direct flight time of just six hours, travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and head straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm — saving time, money, and the road trip.”
The new route will be Jetstar’s tenth direct service from Australia to Bali and its fourth route from Queensland, following the positive response to the Gold Coast service introduced earlier in 2025.
These Bali-bound flights will align with Jetstar’s existing services between Denpasar and Singapore, allowing passengers to depart the Sunshine Coast in the morning and arrive in Singapore by evening.
Jetstar expands its international footprint with new Sunshine Coast–Bali flights starting March 2026, offering direct access and smooth connections to Singapore.
