A special music project, led by award-winning Canadian producer Boi-1da, is underway to support the Canada Soccer Foundation. The initiative, called the Perfect Pitch program, aims to release a FIFA World Cup-themed album.
The album will showcase various Canadian musicians, including Alessia Cara, Nelly Furtado, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Zeds Dead, and the Tragically Hip. Notably, the Tragically Hip have granted Boi-1da full access to their entire catalogue for this project.
The album will feature original tracks, collaborations, and reimagined songs. It combines a wide range of genres and cultural influences, appealing to both sports fans and music lovers. The release is planned for before the June 2026 FIFA World Cup.
