Safety upgrades are set to commence on a crucial Queensland freight corridor, which accommodates up to 15,000 vehicles daily.
Planning is underway for a series of road upgrades along the 60-kilometre Warrego Highway stretch between Toowoomba and Dalby, notorious for its poor crash history.

The design was completed in September, with construction scheduled to start in late 2025 and continue into 2026.
