Hawaii football player Jamih Otis works on his "Peanut Punch" technique during individual drills in every practice.
Otis was named MWC Defensive Player of the Week after forcing a fumble and intercepting a pass in Saturday's win over Utah State.

Otis said, "But you keep practicing it until it becomes a routine. We kept doing it, and it didn’t show until the seventh game.
The "Peanut Punch" is a technique used by former NFL player Charles "Peanut" Tillman to punch the ball free while tackling the ballcarrier.
