A local music shop has closed its doors after suffering extensive damage due to a school bus crash in May.
In the early hours of May 25, a small school bus crashed into the side of Yale’s Music Shop, leaving a gaping hole in the building.
The driver left the scene with non-life-threatening injuries, but the shop was left in disarray and remained closed since the crash.
During clean-up efforts, asbestos was found among the debris, making products such as books, music, acoustic instruments, and accessories unsafe due to contamination.
The Yale Family has announced the permanent closure of the store.
