Pokémon Legends Z-A review: City life can still be an adventure

Pokémon Legends Z-A Review

The latest Pokémon game brings significant changes, but plays out similarly to its predecessors.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been on the market for five months, and Pokémon Legends Z-A is one of the biggest games to be released on the console, promising a shakeup to the core gameplay with real-time combat.

The new twist to the classic combat isn’t the huge revitalization of the game that I expected.

The battles still present moments of tension, and since you’re still using the same attacks, they mostly play out the same as they would in a turn-based game.

The game world is also a major change, offering a new experience.

Author's summary: Pokémon Legends Z-A brings changes, but remains fun.
