Team Rankings
- SDSU: overall record, rank, and comment. Considered moving to the top spot after rout of Nevada, leading 44-0 after three quarters.
- Boise State: stretched a 20-17 lead against New Mexico into a 16-point victory with 21 unanswered points.
After a bye, SDSU plays at Fresno State, which will provide a stiffer test, although the Aztecs defense could feast again in that game.
