Cardinals Expected To Start QB Jacoby Brissett In Week 6

Kyler Murray could still play, but the Cardinals are expected to start Jacoby Brissett at quarterback.

As reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler, Brissett is likely to get the nod on Sunday. Murray was limited in practice on Friday after missing two days due to a foot ailment, a version of a Lisfranc injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Murray's absence may not be limited to one game. Brissett has made two appearances this season, but has yet to make a start for the Cardinals.

As things stand, however, it is unlikely that Kyler Murray will handle quarterback duties for the Cardinals this week.

Author's summary: Cardinals to start Jacoby Brissett in Week 6.
