A BMTC bus breakdown triggered a massive traffic jam on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road, disrupting peak-hour commute.
Traffic came to a complete halt along the Silk Board Junction-KR Puram stretch of the Outer Ring Road for over four hours on Tuesday evening.
A crane was sent in, but it couldn’t move the bus forward because the steering was jammed. After a lot of effort, it was finally pulled back and moved to the side.
Karthik Reddy, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), described the efforts to clear the breakdown.
