Tiger Woods Undergoes Seventh Back Surgery
Tiger Woods has confirmed that he underwent his seventh back surgery due to lower back symptoms.
Woods, 49, shared on social media that he had lumbar disc replacement surgery in his L4/5 Lumbar spine on Friday.
The scans determined that I had a collapsed disc in L4/5, disc fragments, and a compromised spinal canal.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Sheeraz Oureshi and his team at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and was deemed successful.
However, no timeframe has been set for Woods' return to the PGA Tour.
