Sixers Sign MarJon Beauchamp, Waive Emoni Bates
The Philadelphia Sixers have made a preseason addition, signing former first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp to an Exhibit 10 deal.
Beauchamp, a defensive-minded wing, was recently waived by the Portland Trail Blazers. In his three-year career, he has averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game across 135 games.
He has played for the Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers, and New York Knicks. According to sources, Beauchamp is expected to be waived before the season and join the Delaware Blue Coats, Philadelphia's G League affiliate.
In a corresponding move, the Sixers have waived Emoni Bates.
