Albemarle Comprehensive Plan Revision
The Albemarle Board of Supervisors is set to adopt a new Comprehensive Plan on October 15, following a public hearing.
However, the Crozet Community Advisory Committee has urged for revisions to be made first. On October 8, they adopted a resolution criticizing the language in the AC44 document, which outlines the potential expansion of Albemarle's designated growth area.
The AC44 Growth Management Policy, as currently drafted, fails to sufficiently address Crozet’s future growth and development needs.
