Duke Among 'America's Best Employers for Company Culture’ in 2025
Duke University and Duke University Health System have been recognized by Forbes as two of "America's Best Employers for Company Culture" in 2025.
The list, which includes 600 employers, is based on a survey of over 218,000 workers at organizations with more than 1,000 employees, conducted by Forbes and Statista.
"As we all work toward our competing priorities of advancing our academic mission, caring for our patients and serving our community, to hear that our culture is one that people want to be part of is very encouraging," said Antwan Lofton, Vice President for Duke Human Resources.
Duke University Health System is ranked No. 192, and Duke University is also listed. According to Antwan Lofton, the university and health system strive to maintain open communication with employees, making them feel valued.
The recognition is based on criteria such as fairness, inclusivity, and opportunity.
