As the temperatures drop and leaves fall, the risk of catching colds or the flu increases. To help protect the children and staff at Boise State's Children's Center, Nursing and University Health Services are teaming up to offer a flu shot clinic on October 16.
The clinic is open to the center's staff, enrolled children, and their families. While pre-registration is encouraged via forms at the front desk, same-day registration and walk-in slots are also available.
Health Services took on the responsibility of offering vaccination services this year, after Boise State's Public Health Response Team stepped back.
This partnership aims to keep the children and community healthy during the flu season.
