Winchester Solar + Storage Project in Arizona
Torch Clean Energy will build the Winchester solar + storage project in Cochise County, Arizona.
The project consists of twin 80-MW solar projects, supported by 160 MW/640 MWh of energy storage from Fluence Energy.
- Energy storage system: Fluence’s Gridstack Pro 5000
- Delivery expected: early 2027
"We’re proud to partner with Torch Clean Energy on the Winchester project and to bring this important power resource to the Arizona electric grid," said John Zahurancik, President, Fluence Americas.
The Gridstack Pro 5000 solution includes domestically manufactured enclosures, inverters, and thermal management systems, enabling the facility to qualify for domestic content tax credits and supporting U.S. manufacturing and energy security.
