Tate to Invest $61M in Glasgow
Data center infrastructure provider Tate will invest $61.2 million in Glasgow, creating 400 new full-time manufacturing jobs.
The project, which represents the largest job-creation announcement in Barren County in 18 years, will establish Tate's largest North American facility in the area.
"We're delighted to become part of the Glasgow community," said Daniel Kennedy, Tate's Global President of Cloud Solutions and Innovation.
Once fully operational, the 764,000-square-foot facility will manufacture high-performing thermal management and airflow solutions for data centers.
State and local leaders in Barren County worked with company leadership to bring the new manufacturing operation to Glasgow, which will be Tate's first location in Kentucky.
