Moyoxide's Legacy as an Anti-Graft Crusader Remembered
Moyoxide, the late Member of Parliament for Nkulumane, was honored in a solemn gathering with poetry and tributes, celebrating his life dedicated to speaking truth to power.
Moyo, a revered poet, died in a road accident along the Bulawayo-Gweru Highway, where his vehicle collided with an elephant. He was travelling with four other opposition MPs.
The accident occurred on the neglected infrastructure he often condemned in his powerful verse. Moyo was buried in Bulawayo.
