The Greenwood girls soccer team has won their 4th Region title for the first time since 2020, defeating Bowling Green 2-1.
The game saw Bowling Green strike first in the 21st minute, with Zippi Willgruber scoring from a header. However, Greenwood's Landry Campbell and Caroline Drexel turned the game around in the second period, with Drexel equalizing and Campbell scoring the winning goal.
The Lady Gators' victory marks their first advancement to the KHSAA state tournament since 2020.
