Competition is on as Lucky continues to lead the Sydney to Auckland Ocean Race.
Bryon Ehrhart's Lucky (USA) is leading the race, sailing at up to 20 knots across the Tasman Sea, with approximately 1022 nautical miles to Auckland.
"We're currently doing 18-20 knots in 15 knots of wind with a FRO (Fractional Code 0), J4 and a full main up. Beautiful sailing conditions."
Jono Rankine said from Lucky. Around 85 nautical miles behind, Geoff Hill's Antipodes (Hong Kong) is battling with Mick Martin's Frantic (NSW) for line honours and the overall title.
Antipodes navigator, Brad Kellett, said:
