South Africa's Isolation on Gaza Peace Deal
According to Ray Hartley and Greg Mills, President Ramaphosa has been "tone deaf and out of tune" regarding the Gaza peace deal.
As world leaders signed the peace agreement in Sharm-el-Sheikh, the South African government was absent and silent, with its script to isolate Israel having been rejected by numerous countries, including Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, and Qatar.
South Africa now appears more radical than Hamas.
This outcome has exposed South Africa's "amateurish grasp of foreign policy", leaving the country isolated and out of touch as Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on hostage release through US and Middle East mediation.
