NOA Clarifies Correct Protocol for Nigeria’s National Anthem and Pledge
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has issued a public notice clarifying the proper procedure for the rendition and recitation of Nigeria’s National Anthem and Pledge at official and public events.
In the notice, the Agency directed that only the first stanza of the National Anthem should be sung or recited during all official functions.
It further stated that the third stanza of the anthem should be rendered as the National Prayer at the beginning of events.
