The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has discovered a significant trail of unaccounted wealth linked to the Executive Director and Regional Officer of the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in Guwahati.
Following a series of raids across multiple cities, officials reported that the officer, caught accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh on October 14, is now at the center of a widening corruption probe.
