Swype, a digital card manufacturer, has invested in the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C10500 following significant growth in traditional print sales over the past 12-18 months.
The six-figure investment, installed in September, aims to meet demand and create opportunities for growth. The new model replaces an AccurioPress C4080, purchased in August 2024, which previously upgraded the company's Finishing Touch print department.
Swype finance director, Steve Masters, said: "we were blown away by it"
The decision to invest in the C10500 model, rather than another C4080 or smaller backup, was made after a demo organised by supplier Production Print Direct. The new model, nearly four metres long, provides greater capacity to support the company's rapid growth.
