A Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper helicopter crashed in Southern California, resulting in one pilot's death and another's injury.
The helicopter, from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, was on a routine training flight when it suffered an aviation mishap near Imperial Gables, California.
Emergency crews transported the injured pilot to Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, California, where the other pilot was confirmed dead.
