The Sidney Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a garage.
According to Sidney Police, officers were called to a house near Summit Drive and Alvarado Road, where the driver, an adult man, drove over the curb, across a yard, and crashed through the north-facing wall of the attached garage at a private residence.
The driver was initially trapped by debris but was assisted by officers and Sidney Regional EMS. No residents of the structure were injured.
According to police, the driver, who declined medical transport after being evaluated by EMS, exhibited signs of impairment.
