LSU Presidential Search Committee Invites Six Candidates
The LSU Presidential Search Committee has invited six individuals to apply for the position of university president, with interviews scheduled for October.
The committee reviewed a list of 30 interested candidates, presented by search firm SSA Consultants, and voted 11-4 to invite the following six candidates to apply:
- Interim President Matt Lee
- McNeese State University President Wade Rousse
- Julius Fridriksson, Vice President of Research at the University of South Carolina
- Giovanni Piedimonte, Vice President of Research at Tulane
- Dr. Robert Robbins, former President of the University of Arizona
