Cole Evans, a Denver CEO, is suing the Colorado Golf Club after being banned from the premises, allegedly causing a business deal to collapse.
Evans, owner of Kiss Nutraceuticals, a dietary supplement company, claims he was meeting with prospective buyers from Shore Capital Partners at the club when a manager accused him of stealing liquor and banned him.
Brian Straight told (Cole) Evans he was not welcome on the property and that if needed he would call law enforcement to escort him off.
The deal, worth "in excess of multiple eight figures", reportedly fell through after the incident. Evans is now seeking damages from the club and its manager.
