Thanksgiving Day in Saskatoon: What's Open and Closed
On Thanksgiving Day, which falls on Monday, some city services in Saskatoon will be closed, while others will continue to operate.
Transit Services
Transit will run on a holiday service schedule from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., with normal fare rates applying. Access Transit will also operate on holiday hours from 8 a.m.
Closed Services
- City Hall will be closed
- Saskatoon Public Library branches will be closed
- Remai Modern gallery will be closed
- Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-ins
Open Services
- Waste collection will continue as scheduled
- Landfill and Material Recovery Centre will be open from 8 a.m.
- City compost depot will be open from 9 a.m.
- Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will be open from 10 a.m.
Pay parking will not be in effect, and phone lines for the Transit Customer Service Centre will be open from 9 a.m.
