Deadly Crash Involving Garbage Truck Closes Highway 2 near Reardan
The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 2 near Reardan, resulting in a full road closure.
A car and a garbage truck collided on Highway 2, just west of Stroup Road, causing both vehicles to catch fire. One person has been confirmed dead.
Troopers have completely blocked the roadway, with detours in place. Drivers are advised to avoid the area as additional traffic control units respond to the scene.
