Ukrainian Forces Achieve Success in Zaporizhzhya Region
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated several villages in the Zaporizhzhya region, including Malye Shcherbaki, Shcherbaki, and partially Stepovoye.
According to reports, units of the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar" and fighters of the 33rd assault regiment were involved in the operation, which resulted in the hoisting of the Ukrainian national flag over Malye Shcherbaki.
The operation also led to the extension of the line of control by 3.5 kilometers, on a section of the front about five kilometers wide.
These villages were considered important strongholds of the Russian defense, which had been strengthened since spring.
