Mountain View Fugitive Extradited from Guatemala
A Mountain View barber, Franklin Enrique Sarceno Orla, has been extradited from Guatemala and is currently in Santa Clara County Jail.
He is suspected of sexually assaulting over 60 people before fleeing the U.S. and is set to be arraigned on 43 sex assault felonies and related charges.
If convicted, Sarceno Orla faces life in prison. The district attorney's office has charged him in connection with the suspected sexual assault of at least 19 local men.
However, officials believe he may have assaulted many more. Sarceno Orla is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
No additional statements have been released by the authorities at this time.
