He began writing music at a young age, with his first tune "I'm On My Way" appearing on a recording by his uncle Cannonball Adderley when he was just 11.

Nat Adderley, Jr. worked with Luther Vandross as his pianist and musical director for over two decades, but his true passion lies in jazz, inspired by greats like Coltrane, Hancock, Corea, and Joe Zawinul.

His debut recording as a leader, "Took So Long", showcases his creative spirit and talent.
